In 2008 we accomplished the following “feats”:
· Three students graduated from 8th grade excited to succeed in high school
· Eight new mentors committed to investing in the program
· As a community we cleaned an adjacent field for the children to use for sports
· Within the trailer park we created a community garden & basketball court
· Together we have gone on four outings – Dodgers Game, Skate Park, Pool Party and a visit to a local university.
